Thinking back to before I was a full-time wedding photographer when my fiancée and I were searching for the right person to capture our special day, I distinctly remember what a daunting and confusing process this was. There are so many photographers out there, each with their own unique style and approach which is why it’s so important to really talk with your potential photographer, get to know them, ask them questions and check that their approach and ideas fit with what you are looking for from your wedding day photos.
We never really felt our photographer was overly approachable, he was very robotic just going through the motions of ‘yet another wedding’ for him, he did his thing and that was that. I pride myself on always being ultra approachable, talk regularly with my clients, check everything is running smoothly and respond quickly and personally to any questions they have. And crucially I want to bring out the personalities of my clients, so if they have some ideas they would like to try then I am always up for it.
So when you contact me you won’t get a generic automated email reply, you won’t be waiting weeks for a response, you won’t be added to any spammy mailing lists, instead what you will always get is someone who feels blessed to have the honour of shooting your wedding day.
